Breakfast had cereals, pastries, fresh fruit salad and juices laid out for guests, then a member of the friendly staff took our order for tea or coffee, toast and a cooked option. Our room was spotless, well equipped and had a very comfortable bed. We spent six relaxing, rejuvenating nights at the Devonshire Park Hotel Eastbourne. It's a warm, friendly place without any pretentious airs, and we're looking forward to coming back. Thanks to Harry, Hugh, Mo, Jackie and everyone.

The sitting room was my favourite spot, with lovely decor and a relaxing feel. The hotel is clean and very well kept, and the dining and breakfast rooms are warm and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, with cereal, pastries and hot choices, and the evening menu had plenty of variety. Everything was cooked with care and served hot and promptly, so dinner there was well worth trying. I stayed three nights for work and thought it was an amazing place. The staff were polite, professional, friendly and good at their jobs, and especially attentive. Harry, you're a legend! Can't wait to stay again.

I loved the hotel's library, where guests can borrow books and DVDs. Breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty, and the apricot danishes were excellent. The rooms are a good size and spotlessly clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a hospitable, relaxing hotel in a quiet part of town, close to the theatres and tennis, and just a short walk from the seafront and other attractions.

The cooked breakfast and service were amazing. Our room was large and decent, and the hotel itself is roomy with great staff. It's a short walk from both the beachfront and town centre. The only letdowns were a disappointing shower and two single mattresses pushed together that really needed replacing.
