The bed was the comfiest I’ve had in any UK hotel, and my room was spotless. I had a really good night here. Breakfast in the morning tasted great and was well priced. Would highly recommend if you need a cheap place to stay near Liverpool.

The room was well kept, the food was good, and the welcome and service were very friendly. The enclosed staircase also keeps noise from travelling upstairs. I’d happily stay again. It would be nice to have a sugar-free cola with meals, such as Pepsi Max, Diet Coke or Coke Zero.

Sarah Tarry and her staff made sure our wedding day ran smoothly and effortlessly. They couldn’t do enough for us. The gardens are beautiful, the hotel was spotless, and our guests had lots of compliments about the food. Thank you, Carol and John. If you’re planning a wedding, christening or funeral, you can’t go wrong here.

The venue is lovely, and the staff were friendly and lovely too. We had breakfast with family at 610 squadron, and the delicious food came on hot plates, as did the coffee. Charlotte and Barbara went out of their way for us and were such lovely people. Thank you so much, we’ll definitely be back xx

The garden was absolutely stunning, and I may or may not have enjoyed a glass or two in the sunshine. My wife, our two-year-old and I had a wonderful one-night stay. The room was spacious, the bed comfy and the shower fantastic. Staff were kind and professional. Lovely place, don’t miss a chance to stay.
