Muthu Glasgow River Hotel

The breakfast was the letdown. We paid for the full breakfast but got one rasher of bacon, a microwaved “fried” egg, and a spoonful of cold beans. My wife’s pancakes were lovely, though one was still hard. The help-yourself setup only seemed to apply when the hotel was busy, which I can understand. Reception staff were welcoming and looked very presentable. Our room was clean and stylish, with marble floors, turquoise details, a large smart TV, and really comfortable beds. The bathroom had an integrated tap and shower with plenty of power. It’s not the worst place, but it felt very dysfunctional. Would we stay again? Only if everywhere else were full.

We felt so comfortable throughout our visit, thanks to the staff’s warm hospitality. They were friendly, cooperative, and always ready to help. The room was cosy, with very large, comfy beds and exceptional facilities. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. Highly recommend!

I booked here after my friend’s hospital stay at the Golden Jubilee hotel was extended. From outside, the building looked abandoned and wasn’t attractive, but the inside was beautiful. The room was clean and nicely decorated, and the beds were very comfortable, though they’d been left untidy. Mattress and pillow protectors might be a good idea. The hotel was noisy at all hours, with lots of doors slamming. For the price, it’s good value, and the staff I met were very pleasant. I didn’t use the restaurant, so can’t comment on it.

Yunish and Dipesh were kind, professional, and attentive to detail, and their friendly manner made my stay even better. I had a great time at the MGM Muthu Glasgow River Hotel. Thanks for the excellent service!
