Dinner was tasty and cooked well, even though the menu is small. A bit more choice and better value would make it stronger, and I wish room service were available for breakfast and dinner. After a long day at work, eating in the room would be nice. The hotel pub has a warm, welcoming feel, and I enjoyed my stay. I’d happily come back.

The train station is close by, and parking was convenient. Inside, both the dining area and rooms are beautifully designed, with a warm, inviting feel throughout. My room was comfortable, the bed was soft, and I slept well. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choices, including dishes made to order. This was my first stay at The Foley Hotel, and I was very impressed. I’d definitely stay again.

Claygate is a lovely little place, with a train link straight into central London. I’ve been staying at The Foley regularly for a while now, and the rooms are great. The bar and restaurant are good too, and I’m always well looked after. Big thanks to Richard and his team for taking care of us while we’re away from home.

The staff who helped us throughout our stay were all very polite and confident. We ate in the restaurant, and breakfast was good quality. Getting back late at night was easy, and the bedroom was spacious and clean. Check-in and check-out both went smoothly. We probably shouldn’t have been surprised, but we were pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. Usually there’s something negative during a stay, but at the Foley there really wasn’t. Absolutely 100% well done.

We really appreciated how the staff handled the limited gluten-free and vegan options, and they kindly made takeaway toast for our early-morning dash to the venue. My friend and I found them cordial, friendly, and genial in the way they respectfully served our meals. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and suited our needs, with a good variety of meals available. It was an enjoyable stay, with special thanks to Richard, Nicholas and Savanah.
