Coming back to a peaceful, well-kept hotel after exploring the area made the stay especially nice. Saffron Walden is a beautiful town, and wandering through its streets and the surrounding fields was a real pleasure. The hotel sits in the Essex countryside, a good base for seeing the town. The team were attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The place was spotless and comfortable, with a quiet, welcoming feel. I'd gladly return and recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy this lovely part of England.

We stopped in for a full English breakfast and didn't realise they'd reopened after the refurb. Andrea was lovely and couldn't do enough for us. We'd recommend it and will be back.

The location worked really well for exploring Saffron Walden and the surrounding area, and the staff were welcoming and helpful the whole time. My room was spacious, clean and quiet, with a super comfortable bed. I slept really well and would definitely stay at Premier Inn Saffron Walden again.

The prawns came with a great pesto sauce, and my steak was really good, cooked just how I like it. I had it with a double vodka. I'll come back next time I'm here on business. Well done to the chefs for a great meal tonight 🍻

Harry, the manager, and the rest of the staff are so helpful and obliging. They take real pride in making guests feel welcome and happy, even while working around the challenges of a refurbishment. They go the extra mile. The hotel is clean, comfortable and handy for the area. I stay here when I'm working at Saffron Hall.
