The garden was a lovely spot to sit with a glass of wine at the end of the day, and the location made it easy to explore the Sussex countryside, Bodiam Castle, Hastings and the coast. Our converted outbuilding was modern and very comfortable, with a king-size bed, a great bathroom, and a fridge and microwave. Breakfast had homemade granola, yogurt parfaits and pastries, with plenty to choose from. The hosts were warm and gracious. We couldn't fault it and would happily come back. A++

We had a really relaxing two-night stay. It's a lovely self-contained B&B and a great base for exploring Sussex. The bed is huge, and the continental breakfast is just as generous.

The little extra touches made our Silver Wedding Anniversary feel special. Kate even went out of her way to find Waitrose Gluten Free bread for me, and it was delicious, as was the homemade granola. The accommodation was five-star, and we loved our stay. Only wish we could've stayed longer.

The room was fantastic, really clean and nicely decorated, with its own kitchen area and bathroom. It's set over a garage, separate from the house, so it feels self-contained. Kate was incredibly attentive, and breakfast each morning was a lovely continental spread.

We came as two sisters to visit National Trust properties in Sussex and Kent, and Etchingham was a great place to base ourselves. At Rosebank B&B, our airy, spotless room was separate from the main house, with an ensuite bathroom and breakfast area. The large double had been made up as two comfortable, spacious single beds. Kate brought fresh bread and pastries each evening for breakfast. There were cereals, milk and yoghurts in a very quiet fridge, homemade jams and marmalade, and a range of tea and coffee. We picked up quiches and cooked meats from the village Deli instead of eating out, and Kate warmed anything we wanted in her microwave. We also appreciated the fresh flowers, homemade afternoon cakes, and ice brought to our room for our evening G&Ts. Kate's hospitality was so generous. We highly recommend Rosebank and will definitely return.
