The portions were generous, the food was well cooked and it was great value. We popped in for a meal and drinks, and had a really nice time. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere felt warm and relaxed. A lovely local spot for an easy meal or a few drinks. We'd recommend it and will be back.

We had a lovely evening at The Ark House Inn restaurant in Stranraer. It was cosy and relaxed, and the food was fresh, delicious and beautifully cooked. The staff were welcoming and attentive without hovering. Great service and value too. We'd definitely come back, and highly recommend it.

The burgers are my favourite thing on the menu, and they're great value. I tried the chorizo fries as an upgrade too, and they were amazing. Such a warm, cosy and friendly place, with tasty food and brilliant service. Really good value. Highly recommend.

Great location and a welcoming feel as soon as we arrived. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I felt relaxed the whole time. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in Stranraer.
