For the price, the rooms were excellent value and very clean. The woman who welcomed us was really accommodating: she let us park our motorcycles in the beer garden, off the street, and kept the kitchen open so we could get food after arriving late. Just be aware that a room facing the beer garden may be noisy until midnight. We’d booked this for our last night in Scotland.

I got stuck in Stranraer for the night and found a lovely room at a great price. The staff made me feel very welcome, and the shower was great. There was just about a sea view, too. I’d definitely stay again.

The early bird menu is very reasonably priced, and my meal this evening was fantastic. The woman serving me was friendly and helpful as well. I’d definitely recommend the place to family and friends visiting Stranraer.

The room was lovely and the staff were friendly, so it was a very good stay. There can be a little noise until around midnight from boy racers thundering through the streets. My main issue was finding out that the restaurant only opens Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We visited on a Tuesday, when there was nothing decent in the area. That opening schedule really should be made clear in the listing.
