I've stayed with Maggie a couple of times and would always recommend the place. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with good-sized bathrooms, and the position is great. Breakfast has a lovely varied menu, with beautiful views from the table. Maggie is a fantastic host, and the conversation and interaction with her are great. Looking forward to visiting again one day.

Our full monty breakfast was superb, and Maggie was an absolutely lovely host. The Auld Cairn is even better than its website description, with amazing views right along the Lough. Our room was clean and very quiet, and the bed was so comfortable. There was even sherry to toast our visit. We'd love to stay again when we're back in the UK.

Maggie, the owner, is the best part of the stay. She looked after us so well and made us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh coffee and tea, and juice. The room was really nice too, and the bed extremely comfortable.

We arrived by motorcycle on a wet night and our host gave us an enthusiastic welcome. The rooms were lovely and clean, and our ground-floor room was spacious, with a window looking across the loch. The WiFi was good. We had to leave very early for a ferry, so our host left a picnic bag with breakfast for both of us. It was lovely.

Our room was a lovely place to unwind, with comfortable chairs facing the coast and sherry kindly left for sipping. The rainfall shower was just right after a tiring journey, and we found dinner right next door. A delightful host and a wonderful breakfast too. Treat yourself to this!
