A lovely, well-equipped cottage tucked away from the tourist traps, yet close to Stranraer for shopping and Portpatrick for its coastal charm. It’s a great base for exploring Galloway Forest Park and suits anyone who enjoys long drives. Highly recommended.

There are lovely views and walks right outside the door, plus a great pub about 100 metres away serving home-cooked food and a nice pint. The cottage is in a peaceful spot and has everything you need, inside and out, with beautiful finishes. We also found a delicious welcome pack waiting for us. It’s a real credit to the owners 👍
