Langstone Cliff Hotel

The railway station is an easy walk away, making it simple to explore the local coastline. The hotel is in a beautiful spot, with light, airy and quiet rooms. Staff are attentive and knowledgeable, and the prices are good. The full menu covers most tastes. Fantastic hotel.

We had a lovely three-night stay as part of a dancing break. The food was excellent, with good choices each evening. Our family room with balcony was a good size and very clean, and the bathroom was quite large with a shower over the bath. My only suggestion is a wider pastry selection at breakfast for anyone who doesn't want a full English.

The hotel was spotless, the staff were amazing and there was plenty of food. We booked two rooms, including a lovely sea-view balcony room. The suite, room 28, was a letdown for what we paid: £605 for two nights for three people. The bathroom was amazing, but both bedrooms felt old-fashioned and tired. The walls were scuffed, the lamp was stained and the bed creaked. I didn't think the room was worth the price. We were there for a break after getting some not very good news about my mom's health, so I didn't want to make a fuss and just grinned and bore it.

Even when the weather's been poor, we're happy staying around the hotel because it's so relaxed and comfortable. Whenever we visit, it feels like we're going to our second home. Another amazing stay at the Langstone, where the staff are always super friendly and do everything they can to make it memorable.
