There’s a cosy bar looking out over the ocean, and the hotel is only a short walk from the beach, seafront cafe bar, and Falmouth Town Centre with its bars and restaurants. The rooms are modern, spacious, spotless and have ensuite bathrooms, plus there’s parking on site. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the full English breakfast was exceptional, with other breakfast choices too. The hotel doesn’t serve lunch or dinner, but management allows takeaway meals to be delivered for you to eat there. We can highly recommend it and will be back.

For what it offers, this hotel wasn't worth the price, and it certainly felt like a two-star place to me. Breakfast was poor, with no fruit or vegetables, and the beds and pillows were uncomfortable. The bathroom was old, and the towels were worn. For a hotel described as five-star, I also expected toiletries and slippers, but there were none, and there was no safe. You could hear people in the next rooms and in the hallway. There’s no elevator either.

The sea is right outside, beside an award-winning beach, and the town centre is about a 10-minute walk away. We always stay at this hotel when we're in Falmouth. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, and you can choose your included breakfast the night before. There are ground-floor rooms for guests who can't manage stairs; one has its own patio facing the ocean. The staff are lovely and so helpful, always ready to do what they can. I highly recommend it.

The location was lovely, and so was the one staff member we met, but the bathroom in our room was dirty, as the photos show, and the curtain ties were coming away from the wall. For this price, we expected better. It definitely didn't feel like a five-star hotel.
