We booked B&B but ended up eating here every night. The food was great, good value, and the staff were fantastic, friendly and efficient. Our room, 21, had an amazing view, and the whole hotel felt really warm. A real treat.

There’s nothing better than lying in bed with a cup of tea and watching the sunrise. We’ve just made our third visit to Trelawne, and as before, the owners were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel has a fantastic position overlooking Falmouth bay, and the breakfasts are top quality. We highly recommend Trelawne Hotel.

The setting is great for landscape and seascape photography and painting 🎨🖌️📷. My sea view room was warm, clean and comfortable, and it’s so quiet here that I overslept. The staff were very polite, and the food was soo good.

I’ve visited twice now and thoroughly enjoyed both stays. It’s a fantastic hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are really clean and well appointed.

My stay was very disappointing. The room was clean and comfortable, but the rest of the property felt outdated, from the furniture to the carpets. My hiking boots were stolen from the lobby, where guests are told to leave muddy footwear. I was walking the coastal path, so being left without shoes after they’d been in the hotel’s care overnight was extremely distressing and put me in a difficult situation. The staff on site seemed hesitant to help, and the owner was extremely unhelpful and refused to take responsibility. She wouldn’t speak to me directly on the phone and seemed more interested in getting rid of me than dealing with the problem. She insisted they wouldn’t cover my £16 taxi to Falmouth to find new shoes. Thankfully, an older gentleman eventually gave me cash for a taxi. The service left a lot to be desired. The rooms are clean, but if something goes wrong, guests shouldn’t expect the owner to look after them. I can’t recommend this hotel unless you’re prepared to manage entirely on your own. Don’t assume your belongings are safe on the hotel property.
