The whole team made our small January wedding at Hotel Meudon feel easy, with Abi and Lucy especially calm, organised and lovely to work with. The food was top notch, and guests had lots of praise for the evening ramen station. It was cold but mostly sunny, and the winter light across the gardens made the day feel special. Staying overnight was a lovely finish. A beautiful place and a day we'll always remember.

Communication about weddings is all by email, with no phone number to call, so be careful when booking. I paid a deposit early to hold the date, but then they couldn't accommodate my extra guests and tried to move the date. They refused to return the deposit even though the money wasn't due for another 4 days. Don't hand over money unless you're completely sure about the booking.

The restaurant was a highlight, with delicious food and themed evenings such as BBQ in the garden. The peaceful atmosphere was lovely for a relaxing break, maybe a little calmer than our lively little ones were used to. Our family room was very comfortable and the décor is lovely. The gardens are stunning, especially the incredible subtropical garden. The location also makes Cornwall's many beautiful attractions easy to reach. A fantastic place to enjoy the area.

The setting is what makes this place: beautiful grounds and subtropical gardens run down to a private beach. It's dog friendly, and breakfast was actually pretty decent compared with a lot of the other reviews here. The service wasn't 5*, but the staff seemed lovely and you get what you pay for. We really enjoyed our short stay and plan to come back next year.

The food was delicious and the service first class. The staff were so welcoming, made a huge fuss of our dog Brucey, and couldn't have been more helpful. The whole hotel was immaculate, and we loved the retro décor and all the original art around the place. We just got back from two nights with my mum and our sausage dog. It's a beautiful spot, with stunning gardens and a lovely private beach. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Meudon, and we'll definitely be back. Thanks to everyone who looked after us. Brucey is missing you all!
