Lysses House Hotel

Clive met us and helped plan the wedding around what the bride and groom needed, sorting out the menus, decorations and other services the hotel could provide. We arranged it at fairly short notice, just weeks ahead rather than months, mainly because of everyone’s availability. The day went really well. The food was good and plentiful, the drinks kept coming, and we had as much time as we needed. We never felt pushed to move on, as I’ve seen happen elsewhere. The atmosphere was lovely, and the garden looked beautiful on such a stunning day, though they can’t take credit for the weather. The staff’s support and attitude were the key part, and they were exceptional under Clive’s leadership. We’re very happy with our hotel choice and strongly recommend it.

I haven’t seen the rooms or used any of the services, but the setting is really pretty. I went along while my husband had a meeting there. There’s a quaint conservatory where you can sit and listen to the birds outside, plus a little seating area next to a lovely garden. Fareham is a quiet, lovely town. If you enjoy nature and peaceful places, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed visiting here.

We had a great stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fantastic, and our room was spotlessly clean. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
