You can visit the restaurant without staying at the hotel. The food is great and reasonably priced, whether you choose from the menu or have the carvery. Staff are lovely and very helpful. It's also a calm, quiet place for conversation and for neurodivergent people. The restaurant is well lit, which helps visually impaired guests, and there's a ramp for wheelchair users and people with mobility impairments.

We stayed at The Bridge House for a couple of nights while attending a nearby wedding. We didn't know much about the place beforehand, but it turned out to be a really relaxing stay. The team kindly upgraded us to a room overlooking the river Stout, and waking up to the sunny view with swans sleeping and swimming nearby was gorgeous. The staff were welcoming and still served us a warm meal even though we arrived just before the kitchen closed. Our room was cosy with a big, comfy bed. I also liked that the pillows weren't too thick or high, since I can't sleep with those. A pleasant stay, and I'd recommend it.

I've only been here for meals or drinks, never stayed overnight, but I've enjoyed many lunches and breakfasts at this lovely hotel. The buffet breakfast and carvery are both well worth trying. Their cheesy chips are super yummy too!

Our running club, ADH4, met here on a Friday night. Everyone was lovely and accommodating, even though we all ate at different times. I had the lasagne, which was really tasty and came in a generous portion. It's a nice spot, and I hope to come back in summer and sit on the decking. Thanks for hosting us!
