Three Tuns Hotel

My pint was really nice and much needed, and my wife enjoyed her G&T too. We were served quickly on a hot summer day, then took our drinks out back. The outdoor area is just some old picnic tables by the car park, and the pub could do with a spruce-up. There was a “Children Welcome” sign, plus a couple of games and kids’ ball-dispensing machines near the back, but they looked as worn as the rest of the place.

It was pretty quiet when we visited, but we got a warm enough welcome and the ales were good. Nice enough pub. Worth another visit.

We came in for a quick pint while on holiday and ended up staying for food. The menu looked good, the ladies serving were quick and helpful, and the food was amazing for a great price. Staff were friendly, and there’s a good range of real ales. Dogs are welcome, which matters to us, so they earned our custom that day. I’d recommend the pub and would definitely go back. It’s going on my Google list.

The staff are friendly and welcoming, and there’s a large beer garden. They do serve food, though I haven’t tried it so can’t comment on that. The pub is always nice and well worth a visit.
