Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty with breathtaking scenery, the guesthouse is just 300 m from the end of the West Highland Way, one mile from the foot of Ben Nevis and yet only a 15-minute walk to shops, restaurants and to bus and railway stations. The centre of Fort William is around 10 minutes' walk away. Glen Nevis is some 2 minutes' walk from the hotel. Inverness Airport is around 80 km away and Glasgow International Airport is some 130 km away. This guest house is very friendly, with a relaxed atmosphere. It offers a total of 6 rooms. The reception hall, with its impressive and unusual galleried landing and vaulted ceiling, creates a welcoming atmosphere and ambiance. Facilities include a lobby, breakfast room and wireless Internet access. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have en suite facilities with a shower and hairdryer, a TV, tea and coffee hospitality tray, and individually regulated heating. A washing machine and ironing set can also be provided.

We drove from Glasgow airport for the first stop on our Scotland honeymoon, and Cathy gave us such a warm welcome. The room felt cosy and was very clean, with coffee, chocolate milk and snacks waiting for us. The bed was so comfortable that my husband and I slept like babies. Cathy made us a hearty breakfast in the morning, with plenty of tea and coffee. The guest house is an easy walk from Fort William's main street and local shops, and not too far from the sights. We also got to meet their resident dog, Domino. A friendly, welcoming place we'd happily recommend.

Breakfast in the conservatory was lovely, and we enjoyed watching their cute dog wander in the garden. The guest house is peaceful and just a short walk from the city center. Cathy and Steve were wonderful hosts, helping us work out what to do during our stay. We felt very welcome and would certainly recommend it.

After hiking the WHW, it was lovely to come back to somewhere so cozy and peaceful. Steve and Cathy were very hospitable. I had a great stay and would highly recommend Ben Nevis Guest House.

Steve and Cathy went above and beyond to help us out during our three nights there. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was plentiful, with fresh fruit and excellent French pressed coffee. We really enjoyed the stay.

There were plenty of books, games and brochures to look through, and breakfast had a good selection with delicious French press coffee. Our family room was excellent, nicely decorated and perfectly clean. The hosts were friendly and knew their stuff. We'll definitely return when we're in this part of the world.
