Foyers Lodge

We stayed in Room 4, and the bathroom was the real surprise. It was huge and had such lovely light, one of the nicest places I've had the pleasure of showering. The room itself was beautifully decorated, with a lovely lake view and a really comfortable bed. Dinner on site was great too. We especially liked the baked brie, rarebit, venison and steak. A few nights we wandered over to the bar afterward. There's always a fire going, and it was lovely chatting with the other guests. We even got to meet the owners' cat, Oliver, in his bow tie. So dapper!

The new owners are so welcoming. They make the lodge feel homely while keeping things professional, a hard balance to get right, but they do. The decor is beautiful, the bar and lounge areas are great, and the location is superb. There's a lovely 8k circular walk right from the doorstep.

We loved the one of a kind interior, with its special patterns and antique chests, and the blankets and pillows they provide made it lovely to sit outside with a bottle of bubbly. The remote setting was quiet and felt romantic, with views over Loch Ness and local castles only miles away for sightseeing. Dinner blew me away, with what I'd call Michelin grade dishes, from scallop appetizers to lamb entrees. I'd highly recommend a unique stay at Foyers Lodge.

Phil and Anna have clearly poured their hearts into every part of a stay here. The hospitality left a lasting impression, and they're what really set it apart. The dinners and breakfast were incredible, and the bar and sitting area make for a welcoming home base that leans into its Scottish roots. As soon as you walk in, you feel right at home, with an incredible view of Loch Ness. We will be back!
