Five days of peace, quiet and relaxing were exactly what we came for, and we got all of that. It’s an amazing, idyllic place. Thanks again, Sue, and sorry I forgot to write in your visitors book! This place feels like heaven, can’t recommend it enough. 😍

We watched the sea from the large bay window with a drink in hand, especially enjoying it on a wild day when the water was at its roughest. The views are amazing. This was our third stay, over New Year, and we absolutely love the place. Sue is very helpful, and the cottage is always clean and tidy. We’d definitely recommend it for a nice little break and will be back sometime.

We could cook easily here, and good restaurants are also within easy reach. Seals were quietly sitting just off the porch, and the private slipway for launching our kayaks was the icing on the cake. Such a beautiful place.

Waking up to that glorious seascape was the best part of our three nights at Door to the shore. The pod is well heated and has all the mod cons and equipment you need. A wonderful place to stay.
