In the sleepy North Lincs village of SCOTTER, this little gem is outstanding. We meet here every two weeks for our Veterans B'fast club, and they make a special effort on Armistice day. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful, and the manager is always smiling and happy to support us Military Veterans. Thank you. They cater for large groups like ours, and I'd recommend the venue for a casual meal from the excellent menu or a great weekend stay.

We brought a group for an event and booked 30 rooms. Everyone was pleased with their room and the food, and the staff were patient with us all. The rooms were great, the food stayed consistently good each day, and the staff were friendly. We stayed four nights and will definitely be back.

We keep coming back every week, and Nova is a big reason why. She’s always welcoming and smiling, and somehow makes time to look after everyone even while she’s constantly on the go. Nothing seems like too much trouble, and she’s both efficient and warm with people. The food at The White Swan is reliably high quality too, and we always look forward to it. Nova really brightens our visits, and The White Swan is lucky to have her.

The menu had some interesting choices you don’t usually see in a pub, and all four of us enjoyed our food and dessert. We visited for the first time on a Thursday evening, with a table booked for four. The restaurant was very busy, and a server mentioned an offer on starter and main or main and dessert. Service was friendly, though slow; I only noticed three staff, so the crowd may explain the wait. I’d go again for the food and choice, but be ready for a wait. I’m also looking forward to trying the connected Muddy Duck cafe’s breakfast and lunch menu.

The food was delicious and everyone in the family was pleased with their meal for our 50th anniversary. We also had three rooms, which were lovely. Breakfast was the letdown: the coffee was awful, and the food was only okay for the price. I’d still come again, though I might skip breakfast.
