Breakfast was included and had a good range of choices for the start of the day. Our room was quiet despite being near the airport, and clean, modern, and comfortable, with a lovely bed for a good night's sleep. Check-in was quick, and everyone we met was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. For an early flight, the convenient airport access made this a stress-free overnight stay. It was comfortable and good value, and we'd definitely come back.

We stayed on Christmas Eve before a Christmas morning flight, and it was a great place to set off from. The bar staff were lovely. Food was still being served when we arrived, though not for much longer, and they let us know straight away. They also suggested local delivery services in case we wanted a takeaway. The rooms were very clean, tidy, and in good condition. As tradition demanded, we watched Die Hard on Christmas Eve before falling asleep ⭐

Colin made our breakfast memorable. He was attentive and welcoming, helped us with the waffle maker, and made sure we were comfortable. He was funny too, and I wondered if he might be a descendant of Norman Wisdom. He left a little place in our family's memory of the stay and brightened a cold winter morning. Kristina was also lovely and helpful, greeting us with a smile and keeping our table spotless. The reception was welcoming and the rest of the staff were very helpful. The room was clean, and the shower was a bit noisy, but hey ho. It's a handy place for an early morning or late night flight, with a tunnel walk through to the terminal.

The rooms were decent, and breakfast was enough for a quick bite before our flight. We chose the hotel because it was right beside our airline's check-in desk, which was extremely convenient for an early departure. During our stay, there was a fire evacuation. The stairs brought us out at the back with no way straight back in, so we walked around to the main entrance by the check-in desks. Everything looked normal when we got to the lobby. We had to queue to ask what had happened, and staff said it was a kitchen false alarm. A clear announcement would have reassured guests there was no serious threat. The lack of communication is why I gave a lower rating, and it's something the staff could improve during unexpected situations.
