Travelodge Glasgow Airport

A convenient place to stay before an early flight, only a 10 minute walk through the car park for anyone without a car. Exit the hotel area, cross the road and go through the multistory car park. We came from the city centre on the 500 AirPort Express bus. The room was nice, but the bathroom didn't feel clean. There were hairs on the shower floor, and dripped soap on the floor below the dispenser had gathered a thick layer of dust and pubes. At 2am, the person in the adjoining room played Punjabi music and started singing. That's not the hotel's fault, though we returned the wake up favour at 5am 🎁. We paid £30 for the night and would stay again for a cheap stopover.

The staff were friendly, the beds comfortable, and the location was good, especially without a car. Even with a child, the airport was an easy walk. Breakfast was OK. The bathroom and one corner of the room were mouldy. We arrived on Thursday night, and this was the cheapest hotel we found in the area.

For £80, I felt like I was paying too much to stay in a bedsit that smelled like a swimming pool. There was so much chlorine in the room it gave me an instant headache, and there were no sockets by the bed, which is wild in 2025. The place felt like a prison. I’d have been okay with it at £50.

The bathroom ceiling had mould, which was my only complaint. Otherwise, it was all good. The staff were really pleasant, parking was plentiful, and I had a ground-floor room with a window that opened. I also used the free hot chocolate machine in reception. It was a quick stop before an early morning flight.
