easyHotel Glasgow City

Bira at reception handled our interaction with a lot of patience and respect. The hotel’s rules and systems seemed strict, but Bira calmly explained the situation, even when some things were beyond their control. They were clearly doing their best within those limits. The room was clean, the central location makes it easy to get around Glasgow, and the hotel was straightforward and affordable, just as expected for a budget stay. I had a pleasant experience at easyHotel Glasgow City Centre, and the friendly front desk staff make it a solid option for a short visit.

Room 423 was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location made it easy to get around Glasgow, and the whole stay at easyHotel Glasgow was smooth and pleasant. Great value for the money. I’d recommend it and would stay again.

The staff were really nice and helpful. I also believe you should judge a room in light of what it costs, and a cheap price means expecting a cheap room. But in Glasgow I don’t understand why you’d pick easyHotel over another hotel. The price is similar to other budget places, yet the rooms are much smaller, and you have to pay extra to leave baggage or have your room cleaned. The mattress and pillows are worse than those at equivalent hotels. You can’t open the windows, so the rooms feel stuffy and poorly ventilated. There is air conditioning to control the temperature, but it leaves the room very dry. It feels like you get less than the basic things you’d expect, so at the same price I’d choose somewhere that offers what a hotel should.

I only needed a place to sleep after flying into Glasgow for an audition, and this little room did the job nicely. It had the essentials: bed, WiFi, TV, shower and bathroom, plus somewhere to hang coats and put a few bits. A lamp would have been useful, since the choices were the bathroom light, the room light, or both. The front desk staff were friendly every time I came out, and there was a tap-to-pay coffee machine in the lobby. It’s close to the high street for grabbing food. I didn’t get to see much of Glasgow, sadly, but I’d come back and stay here again.
