We spent four nights in this lovely cottage for a quiet weekend away. It's peaceful and out in the middle of nowhere, but there's plenty around if you feel like going out. The hot tub was perfect, and the man who looks after the cottages was friendly and very helpful. He was happy to help with any question and kept the stables beautifully.

A handy base for exploring the Loch Lomond region. The accommodation has the basics, though updating the furniture would improve it. Just be aware that the hot tub costs £50 to use.

The views stretch for miles, and there are plenty of walks right on the doorstep. We stayed in very dog-friendly accommodation, and the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The scenery is so good it deserves another mention!

This is a converted farm compound with a few attractive, higher-end apartments for rent. The design is thoughtful, the furnishings tasteful, and there's everything needed to cook, clean and have guests. The beds are comfortable, the setting is quiet, and it's not too far from Loch Lomond. My one complaint is the checkout list: guests have to strip the linen, deal with the towels and wash the dishes. For the price, they could be more flexible and have cleaning staff take care of that after checkout. Otherwise, highly recommended!
