Indigo Glasgow

We’ll visit again. The hotel is lovely and right in the city centre, and the rooms were stylish, comfortable and spotless. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. Breakfast was lovely too. Thanks to the team.

The Full Scottish breakfast is big, so come hungry. Breakfast was very good, and the rooms were comfortable and a good size. The walk-in shower was great, and the staff were efficient. It’s very central, close to Central Station and on the Airbus 500 route.

The room was clean and elegant, with fantastic decor, a big TV and a fabulous shower. The food at breakfast was luxurious and delicious, and having it cooked fresh was a lovely touch. Staff were nice and very polite. A special mention to Alexandra, the young woman at breakfast, who was always smiling, polite and happy to chat. We loved our stay emencly and wholeheartedly recommend this place. We’d stay here any time. Well done, guys!

I had two nights with almost no sleep because of how much noise came through the walls, floors and ceilings. Footsteps and neighbours closing doors and drawers made my bed and even the walls shake. I asked to move to a quieter room, but the hotel was full and nothing could be done. I left for another hotel on the third night of my booking, which wasn’t cheap, and Indigo offered no refund when I asked. Some renovation work seems to have been done quickly to spruce up what I assume was an older hotel and raise the nightly price. Things look nice at first, and the rooms look good otherwise, with very good bathrooms. But the walls and floors are paper thin. It was a most frustrating stay, though I don’t think the staff were at fault. At that price, it’s not a good choice if you value a decent night’s sleep. I’ll never return.
