Free parking was a big bonus, and the hotel was well placed for walking into the city. I had a front-facing room but heard no noise at night, thanks to the excellent double glazing. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had great pressure, and the room was clean with good amenities, including a fridge and microwave. The guest kitchenette was a really nice touch. Couldn't fault it, and I'd definitely stay again.

It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the Gloucester Cathedral area, and this friendly, beautifully kept hotel was just right for me while working away from home. I don't know the area and would rather not drive around the city, so the location suited me well. It's clean, warm, and welcoming. I can't see why it only has two official stars, it deserves at least four. You won't be disappointed staying here. Enjoy!

We had a large, clean, quiet twin room at The Edward Hotel, with comfortable beds, a fridge, and a microwave. They'd thought of the details too, even putting oat milk on the welcome tray. We paid a relatively small extra amount for the cooked-to-order full English breakfast, which was delicious and made with good quality ingredients. The two ladies looking after us were efficient and very friendly, though I'm sorry I don't know their names. Parking was no problem, and we'd certainly stay again.

Karen was so kind when we checked in. I explained that our 20 years old daughter needed to come along because of her university schedule, and Karen arranged a larger room with an extra bed for her. The Edward Hotel was a pleasant surprise, with historical photos of Gloucester city and a well-equipped room that also had a microwave oven and fridge. Free on-site parking was another plus. Great value, and a fantastic hotel with a personal touch. Thanks again to Karen, such a kind lady.

I had a very pleasant couple of nights here while visiting family nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly, caring, and very helpful. Thank you so much. I'd have no hesitation about coming back.
