The Sunday roast was superb, and the veggies are treated just as well as anyone else. The nut roast was delicious, and the sticky toffee pudding was to die for. The food here is always very good. Staff are lovely and helpful, with just the right amount of attention. We ate in the beautiful formal dining room today, though the bar has a really friendly, casual feel too and is worth recommending. We'll be back very soon. Thanks for a wonderful Sunday lunch.

It was a nice, quiet stay overall. The room was really nice, clean and had a comfy bed, with a kitchenette, fridge, iron, hairdryer, tea, coffee, biscuits and good crockery. The shower pressure was a bit rubbish. There were lots of marks on the walls and they could do with painting, but that wasn't a deal breaker. The blind was broken and the TV remote was missing.

The staff were so cheerful and helpful, and the Christmas lunch at the Anglesey Hotel was delicious. The portions were generous too, they certainly don't skimp. Compliments to the chef!

We went for Sunday lunch to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and it was a lovely family meal. The pork belly was probably the best I've ever eaten. As usual, the bar staff and the women serving us were brilliant. A great spot for food and drinks.

The table was set out really well, and the staff looked after us attentively. Our food arrived hot and was cooked well. The submarine museum guides had their Christmas dinner here, so I can't comment on the rooms.
