The host was so lovely, and the à la carte breakfast was unusual and excellent, with lots of fresh fruit. The house has been fully renovated in a stylish way, and we felt comfortable as soon as we arrived. Our room was spacious and distinctively furnished. Everything was spotless, with fresh towels each day, and there was a coffee machine as well as fresh tea bags in different flavours every day. A huge thank you to the host!

Karen and her husband were great hosts during our wonderful weekend at Mount Barker B and B in Granton-in-Spey. We couldn’t have asked for more as guests. The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, set in peaceful, impressive surroundings. Our bedroom was very nicely presented, and the super-king bed was wonderfully comfortable, giving us both a great night’s sleep. Breakfast had a lovely range of choices, cooked perfectly and served nicely with high quality produce. The en-suite had a double shower, soft fluffy white towels and a good-sized storage unit. If you’re after a little Highland luxury, I’d recommend Mount Barker B and B. Mrs Simone McHardie

We spent a fabulous week at Mount Barker. The quiet setting meant we slept well every night. Our room was sumptuous, with lovely furnishings, a mini fridge, tea and coffee, a kettle, coffee maker, biscuits, toiletries and a small decanter of whiskey for the end of the day. Karen was attentive at breakfast, which was fantastic, and knew the surrounding area well. We were in Scotland mainly for golf, and she suggested lovely places to visit on our days off. We’d thoroughly recommend staying here.

The Henderson room was spacious and very comfortable, and the bathtub was divine after our cold, wet days there. We had a wonderful three-night stay at this lovely B&B. Breakfast was delicious every morning with plenty of options. Thanks for the lovely accommodation and service!

It isn’t a bargain, but it’s worth every penny, and I’d stay again anytime. The room was phenomenal, everything was very clean, and Karen and her husband were kind hosts who provided great service. Karen’s home-cooked breakfasts were delicious. The location was perfect for visiting the Cairngorm National park. There’s no way I could give this accommodation less than five stars. Thanks for having us!
