I stayed in room #22 for three nights in mid-September 2025. The room was quiet, clean and larger than most, with clean sheets, towels, silverware and ceramics. There was plenty of coffee, tea, sugar and milk. The bathroom was roomy, with a full tub and adjustable handheld shower. Check-in was easy, and check-out was just dropping off the keys. I gave an extra star for the value. It's an easy walk to the beach, dining, entertainment and casinos, and there was plenty of free street parking out front. The building has an older charm, though its condition may not suit everyone. No USB ports.

The photos online looked good, but I'm not sure where those rooms are. The hotel seemed very low quality and unclean, with an awful smell and no sign of ever having been upgraded. We changed rooms, but there wasn't much improvement and not many options. The staff tried to help, but after one night we booked another hotel around the corner and took the loss.

We were meant to stay two nights, but left this morning after just one. The twin room was boiling, the bed was uncomfortable, and there was old bread behind the cabinet. The pillowcase and towel were stained too. The smell as soon as you enter reception is nasty. The only bathroom window was big enough for a bit of air, but the fire escape steps were right outside it, so we couldn't leave it open all night. Getting to the room was like a maze, and outside the window the seagulls were noisy and getting into the bins. Horrible experience and a waste of money. Avoid!

We couldn't sleep because the heating came on by itself and we couldn't turn it off. We left the next morning. The hotel stinks everywhere and is dirty. There was old bread and stains on the bed linen behind the bedside tables. This place should be closed. I don't recommend it, it's disgusting.

It's a dated hotel, but we were happy with our stay. The front-of-house staff were polite and mannerly, and when we arrived early they kept our luggage somewhere safe until our room was ready at 3pm. The ladies in the dining restaurant were lovely and mannerly too. The chef makes the best scrambled eggs, fluffy and served in a big portion. It's rated two stars, and we enjoyed our visit.
