I’ve stayed here several times and always enjoy it. The canal runs right beside the car park, so bring a fishing rod if that’s your thing. Breakfast starts with a lovely, bubbly welcome, and the food’s good whenever you eat. Staff are always friendly and helpful. My only small gripe is that some beds are starting to sag and could use new mattresses.

Our room was comfortable, clean and warm, and we had a nice view over the canal. The heating did worry me a bit, though, because it scorched the wall.

Joseph made check-in such a kind, welcoming experience and checked that we were comfortable. We’d booked two rooms and were really happy with our night here. Thank you!

We ate dinner and breakfast at the Brewers Fayre and chose the meal deal, which was good value, with decent food too. The hotel was clean and welcoming, and its location worked perfectly for our trip. Parking was free, and Halifax was about a ten-minute taxi ride away.

I’ve stayed here plenty of times and it’s always been reliable. I like the ground floor, and Lorrain at reception was kind and really helpful. The rooms were clean, though a few could use some refurbishing. You get what you get in Premier Inn. See you soon.
