The old building has plenty of charm, though you do hear movement in neighbouring rooms because of its age. Our room was clean and the staff were friendly, and we had a great stay in this lively spot. There’s also good crabbing nearby, which was a fun thing to do. You can get all the gear at the co-op for less than £10.

The village is lovely, with friendly people, and the Victory pub is just up the road. Our room was much bigger than we expected, spotless, and had a nice hot shower. There was a good choice of tea and coffee too. We had a lovely stay last night and will definitely come back. Great location!

Les, Belinda & Sarah were absolutely wonderful when my daughter and I recently used the RSYC for a celebration of life for my wife. It was an extremely difficult time, and they did everything they could for us. The venue, rooms and food were all amazing. I should have written this sooner. Huge thanks to Les, Sarah & Belinda, we can’t thank you enough 🤍💙🩷

We booked a restaurant table and had a meal that was excellent, though a little pricey. The staff were friendly and helpful even though we were visitors, not members. The bar has amazing views, and the area feels unique and charming, with quiet nights once the pubs close. Our family room was very clean and had everything you'd expect from a hotel room. Parking was convenient and easy to reach through the intercom, and the receptionist was welcoming, polite and helpful. We had a really good stay and I thoroughly recommend it. The only downside was the creaky floorboards. We could hear every movement from the room above and from our own room when we shared it with others. Nothing can really be done about that.
