OYO Bostons Manor Hotel

For three days I couldn't take a shower because there was no hot water in my room. I stayed at Boston Manor Hotel from December 3 to December 6, 2025, and reported the problem to reception several times. They kept saying it would be sorted soon, but it never was. I asked to move rooms and was told the hotel was full. Later, the staff became dismissive and unprofessional, and even suggested I contact my bank and file a dispute if I wasn't happy. The hotel offered a complimentary night after my stay, but by then I was already travelling outside London. I can show screenshots to prove that, and I have video evidence of the lack of hot water. Hot water is a basic requirement. Being charged the full amount despite going without it for three consecutive days is unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

We slept well for less, just as the Boston Manor Hotel business card says. It was also comfortable, welcoming and beautifully maintained, and felt like a relaxing place to stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the visit feel special. At Epic Spice, the food was delicious, with vibrant flavours and impeccable service. I highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant!

We had a one-night stay. Parking was good, the location was great, and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The restaurant's decor, where free breakfast is served, is modern and nice. The rooms are small but do the job, though the hotel is a maze when you're trying to find yours and there is no lift. When I checked the room, I found bad stains, which I believe were blood, on the mattress protector, as well as marks on the sheets and pillows. I raised it with reception and they changed the room without any issue. The replacement was cleaner. The electric shower had a good temperature but weak pressure. There were no bathroom amenities apart from a bar of soap, with no hand wash or shower products. The TV was extremely small, though it did the job. I know it's a budget hotel, but Boston Manor Motel would be a more fitting name. It's not a great experience if you plan to spend time in the room beyond sleeping, and I wouldn't stay again despite the good location. Breakfast was free for a reason. There are nice cafes around, so go there instead.

The bed was very comfy, but the room was extremely dusty. We'd leave for the day and come back to find a film of dust over our things, and I have no clue how that could happen. The shower was unpredictable too, going from scalding hot to freezing cold without us touching anything. We thought we'd use the bath instead, but there was no plug in the room. When we asked that evening, a worker said he'd find one in the morning. He did, and we're thankful, but we still couldn't use the bath that evening. The hotel is advertised as 17 minutes from Heathrow Airport, but the journey was more like a 20-minute tram ride followed by a 20-minute walk, about 45 minutes in total. I'm not usually one to complain or be picky, but these things disappointed my husband and me. You get what you pay for, though a functioning shower, a bath plug and honesty about the airport distance seem like the bare minimum whatever the price.
