Old Swan Hotel

Getting the train to York was quick and easy, which is another plus for Harrogate. The hotel's location is perfect, the breakfasts were excellent, and we had a wonderful three-night stay. Can't fault the place. We'll definitely go back.

The staff were attentive and efficient, and made a great first impression. One morning, someone at reception told me about the history of the hotel and Harrigatter. The next day I was given a printed copy of Harrigatter and the full document about Agatha Christina. They noticed how interested I was, and I really appreciated that thoughtfulness. 💛 Our room was spacious, clean, warm and very comfortable, and we slept really well. The location was ideal for walking to popular attractions, restaurants and pubs. Breakfast was a particular highlight, with sweet, healthy and hot options, and the service was perfect. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely choose them again.

We had three single rooms, all clean and with nice bathrooms, 4ft beds, tea and coffee, and bottled water. The historic building has lovely spacious lounge and bar areas, and the jewellery and handbag cabinets were really nice and good value. Parking was easy, we were welcomed warmly and check-in was efficient. Breakfast was excellent, and all the staff were lovely. I'd recommend it.

The staff were lovely, the public areas were great, and the location is fantastic. The rooms could do with some updating, though they were very clean and a bit tired. The bed was so soft, like a marshmallow, and now we both have sore backs. Still, no real complaints for a weekend stay.
