The room was perfect, very clean and tidy, and really well equipped. The location was lovely too. I’m a big bloke, but the single bed was very comfortable. The owner was lovely and a pleasure to deal with. I’d recommend it. 5 star xxxxx

Pennicks@Trinity is a dog-friendly cafe with friendly staff and great coffee. It’s a little off the main beach road, but it’s the only dog-friendly cafe in Seaton Carew.

A few safety concerns came up, especially the stairs. There was no shower, and getting hot water was difficult. The TV still hadn’t been fixed after I told the owner it wasn’t working.

We went as a group for afternoon tea and really enjoyed it. The sandwiches, mini scones, trifles and cakes were all tasty, and everything was freshly made. It was great value too. We’ll definitely go back 🧁🍰☕

The corned beef pie and salmon toastie were both really nice, and the service was very good. They’d run out of crisps to go with the toastie, but when we asked, they brought us chips instead. Drinks were the weak point: a pot of green tea for two was £5.10, with just one teabag in it. That felt a bit expensive for plain green tea.
