I’ve been a member for almost 4 years and love my golf club. The courses are fantastic, the staff are great, and the facilities are lovely. The price is really reasonable. They keep improving the course with ongoing maintenance and shaping, and I can’t wait to see how it looks in a few years!

Tom North was our pro for a three half day course, and he’s one of the nicest guys I’ve met. He explains things simply and clearly, and he’s a great pro. The video analysis was especially useful, helping us understand much quicker what we needed to work on. The course was in great shape, with lovely greens, bunkers and fairways, and it was quite challenging. Afternoon play after our lessons was included in the fee, so it was excellent value. Everyone in the clubhouse, restaurant and pro shop was amazing, friendly, professional and happy to help. We can’t wait to go back.

The manager/owner, Leigh, let the place down even more than the course did. When we asked why it was in such a bad state, he told us it was in fantastic condition, said our opinion didn’t matter to him, and told us not to come back if we didn’t want to. His attitude was awful. There were chips on the cafe menu, but he had the biggest chip on his shoulder. He even asked our handicap, then said that if it was 20, the course condition didn’t matter. We played today, and the course was sadly in a terrible state. The tee boxes, greens and fairways were all awful, overgrown and patchily unwatered. That’s really poor for a £35 Green fee. What a shame to have such a muppet running a golf course into the ground.

This is about the nine hole par 3 course. Honestly, playing in a field would have been better. Every aspect was at an appalling standard. No wonder it’s cheap, you’ve been warned!

Dan’s lessons have made an amazing difference to my swing. He’s a great pro, gives clear instructions and explains why each change will help. Since I understand what I’m doing and why, I can keep improving when I practice. They’ve got a great setup for recording lessons, so you can watch your swing and understand it better. The videos and pictures are there to look back at, and they’ve helped me keep track of my swing. I can’t recommend lessons with Dan enough!
