The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I slept really well. I was there for a couple of nights on business, and the hotel’s handy for work around this area. Service was great from the welcome at check-in through to the restaurant. Sam looked after people with a warm, personal touch, and you could tell he genuinely cared. The Hatfield Premier Inn refurbishment has brought a great new restaurant too. My mixed grill was cooked and presented perfectly by chef Connor, who checked that guests had enjoyed their food and clearly cared about giving them a good meal. The food was excellent.

We stayed for a weekend while visiting family for a birthday. It was quiet and clean, and the rooms had plenty of space. Breakfast had a good range and was good quality, about 8/10. Theresa was especially kind and took extra care of our little family. A small update to the room decor would be welcome, and an ashtray near the entrance would help too 😉

The room was clean and really comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food at both dinner and breakfast. The new restaurant is a big improvement, love it.

The corridor outside our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which was the one real downside. The room itself seemed fine, and the staff were friendly, though we had to wait a bit. Otherwise, it’s a standard Premier Inn, pretty much what you expect.

The building work is still going on, but it didn’t affect my stay. I was travelling alone for work and felt safe. The staff were lovely, and it’s what you’d expect from a Premier Inn. The evening menu was missing a few things, chicken for one, and I’m not sure the food is great value unless you get the meal deal. Probably okay with that.
