We spent a wonderful week at the Old Temperance House in St Keverne Cornwall. Kevin and Claire were welcoming, friendly hosts, and the breakfasts were delicious. Our room and bed were very comfortable too. It’s well placed for exploring the Lizard and surrounding areas, and we’d recommend The Old Temperance House without hesitation.

The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay in Cornwall. It was comfortable, clean, and cosy, and Kevin and Claire are wonderful hosts. They’re always happy to chat about their beautiful surroundings. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Breakfast was amazing, with a wide choice of home-cooked options. Kevin was really nice and ready to help or answer our questions. The room and bathroom were lovely and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back if we’re in the area!

We spent three nights in the twin room and would happily book here again. The owners were friendly and helpful, with good advice on where to eat and drink. There are two pubs just metres away, yet it was peaceful at night. The B&B is right on the market square, with lots of parking in and around it, plus three spaces outside the accommodation. The place was spotless, the cleanest guest house I’ve stayed in by far, despite having travelled widely. The bathroom, just down the landing about 2m from the bedroom, was lovely, with toiletries, dressing gowns, and plenty of soft, clean towels. Our bedroom had tea, coffee, biscuits, and wine glasses, a lovely touch. The beds were soft but just right, even with my bad back. Breakfast was stunning. I don’t usually have a full English, but I ate it all three mornings. It was cooked perfectly and wasn’t greasy, with crisp bacon, a flavourful, decent-quality sausage, lovely orange juice, and loads of coffee. I also loved the shoe tray in the hall for muddy shoes. It’s good manners to keep muddy footwear off those lovely carpets, and I appreciated it.

We enjoyed breakfast in the lovely room overlooking the square, and we’d definitely stay here again. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The host was welcoming and helpful. A lovely place to stay.
