Breakfast was lovely, and the service throughout was warm and friendly. My room was clean and comfortable, with a good shower. I stayed for two nights and would happily recommend it. I arrived very late, after the pub had closed, but Andrew still went out of his way to meet me and show me to my accommodation. Thank you.

I haven't stayed here, but I come by often since it's nearby. There's a great atmosphere for drinks, the food is lovely, and the place has loads of character. The staff are friendly, helpful, and good for a laugh too.

The private bar in the function room helped everything run smoothly on the night. I held a private event at The Olde Kings Arms and was really glad I chose it. From beginning to end, the manager and team were professional and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this pub for a party.

I've been coming here twice a week for around 10 years and have seen all sides of the service, but only just got around to writing a review after having the Sunday Roast. The rooms are comfortable, the food is wholesome, the pints are the best, and the staff are the best too. This pub is a real credit to the Old Town and Hemel Hempstead. Thanks to Ben and the team for all the hard work.

We were in town for a gig at the old town hall, and the location was great. The pub has a relaxed feel as soon as you walk in, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We stayed one night on 18/10/25. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the food was excellent. Thanks to everyone for a lovely stay, especially Dotty for the lovely breakfast. Highly recommend.
