We slept well, and the hotel has the basics covered. It’s in a handy spot for walking into town and visiting Horsham’s great park, and the free off-street parking was a real bonus. The room was spotless, though it felt a little dated for what we paid. Street noise came through the windows, but it settled down overnight. There’s no 24-hour reception, which was a downside. We didn’t get to try breakfast, but that was our own timing.

We liked the friendly, comfortable feel of this small hotel. It worked really well as a base for our West Sussex trip. The pubs and restaurants at the west end of the town centre are only a few minutes away on foot, and there are plenty more bars and places to eat about a 10-minute walk east.

The room was spacious and spotless, with a super king bed that was really comfortable. It had everything I needed, including storage, an iron and board, lots of hangers, toiletries and a mini fridge. Breakfast was delicious and made with good ingredients. I was there on business, but I’ll be back for pleasure. Lyn and the team made me feel very welcome, and the customer service was excellent. The manager even called to arrange my arrival outside normal hours. Highly recommended. Thank you!

It’s an older place without frills, but everything was clean and tidy, and my room had all the things I needed. The bed was too hard for me, though a mattress topper might have helped. That’s just my preference. Staff were accommodating, and breakfast was excellent, fresh and made to order. I loved the town, too. The location made this a good choice for me, with the town centre and Horsham train station both within walking distance. It is a little expensive for what you get, but being close to both mattered to me.
