We went as a family for a birthday, and the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff made it a lovely evening. The food was all very good. I had ham, egg and chips, with a thick slice of proper ham, chunky chips and two eggs cooked just right. It was a proper country pub experience, and the decking area looked like it’d be lovely in summer, so I’ll have to come back and try it. A lovely little pub in Littleworth, just outside Partridge Green. Certainly worth a visit.

We’ve been regulars for Sunday lunch for a few years, and it used to be by far the best roast in West Sussex. This week’s meal was awful and such a disappointment. Everything came out cold, the vegetables no longer came in a separate dish, and my partner ordered the trio but got only a pork dinner. My vegetable roast was very different from what we’d had before, and the gravy was so salty I could barely eat it. I don’t know if the chef has changed, but sadly we won’t be coming back.

A cosy old English pub with locals, if that’s what you’re after. It was lovely and clean, the staff were really friendly, and the food was fresh and lovely. Couldn’t fault it, and I’d recommend it.

The hearty food was yummy, the beds were so comfy, and the rooms were amazing. Everyone on staff was welcoming and helpful. It’s such a lovely place, surrounded by lush fields and gorgeous horses. I 100% want to come back!
