For the basics, this is a very good choice, and we slept well. Horsham’s great park and the town centre are both within easy walking distance, and the free off-street parking is a real plus. The hotel has no 24-hour reception, though. Our room was very clean but felt a little dated for the price, and the windows let in street noise, although it settled down overnight. We didn’t get to try breakfast, but that was our own doing.

A friendly, comfortable small hotel and a handy base for our West Sussex trip. It’s only a few minutes’ walk to the pubs and restaurants at the west end of the town centre, and about ten minutes to plenty more bars and places to eat at the east end. Very good in every way.

I was visiting for business, but I’ll certainly come back for pleasure. The breakfast was delicious and made with good quality ingredients. Before I arrived out of hours, the manager called to arrange things, and I was made to feel very welcome. My room was spacious and spotless, with a super king bed that was extremely comfortable. It had everything I might need, including storage, an iron and ironing board, plenty of coat hangers, toiletries, and a mini fridge. Highly recommended. Thank you, Lyn and team!

It’s an older, no-frills building, but everything was clean and tidy, and my room had all the essentials. The location mattered to me: both the Horsham train station and the lovely town centre are an easy walk away. The price felt a little high for what you get. My bed was harder than I like, and a mattress topper would have suited me better, though that’s personal preference. The staff were accommodating, and the fresh breakfast made to order was excellent. I loved the town itself!
