Imperial Guest House

At the Imperial Guest House in December, my brother and I shared the Deluxe Twin double room. It was very clean, warm, and quiet, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Only small warning: if you're taller than 185 cm, don't choose the twin bed, lol. I'd stay again.

I've stayed here a couple of times when dropping someone off at Heathrow. There are lots of parking spaces, a real bonus in London, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. The high street, with plenty of food options, is just a few minutes' walk away. Heathrow Terminal is about a 15-20 minute drive, with a straightforward journey. I'd definitely recommend it.

We chose this place so we could walk to Twickenham, and really enjoyed our stay. The location also looks handy for transport, with a tube station just down the road, and it's easy to reach by car, not far from the motorway. The back conservatory was lovely for plane spotting, and there was a cute dining room at the front where we had our takeaway dinner. We didn't have breakfast, so can't comment on it. Our two cars fitted in the rear car park, which seemed to have about 20 spaces and could fill up quickly. The rooms were cosy and on the small side, but absolutely fine for a weekend. It was generally quiet with little noise from other guests, though there was a lot of plane noise. The room was too hot at first, but easy to cool by turning off the radiator and opening the window. The shower was small but adequate with hot water, and the bathroom was very clean. There was enough cupboard and drawer space for two nights. I wish there'd been cold water available to refill my bottle. The room had two complimentary bottles in the fridge, but more cost extra. Staff said I could use the staff kitchen tap, though the water was only warm. These are small complaints, and we'd happily recommend the place and stay again.

The room was spotless, and the bed really comfortable. It's also a short walk to the underground. The staff were so friendly and accommodating with whatever you need. I can't give this place less than five stars.
