The food was nice and piping hot, just how I like it. Shame the facilities let the place down. After a long drive I went to use the ladies' toilets, where neither cubicle door had a lock. One of the two soap dispensers was empty, and the sanitary bins were overflowing. It wasn't pleasant to see.

I expected chaos with 28 of us booked between Christmas and New Year, but every meal came out on time and was correct, even though the restaurant was really busy. The food and service impressed me, and the staff handled a very busy day well. We'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere was spot-on, and nothing was too much trouble. From Chris through to Noelle on the night, the whole team looked after us from beginning to end and made our birthday party feel special. The service was flawless. Couldn't have asked for a better team. Thanks, everyone.

The steaks and mixed grills are definitely worth recommending, and the Korean BBQ Sauce is a favourite. Marshall and the chefs did an excellent job with the food. Niamh and the staff kept checking that everything was okay with our meals, and Natasha gave great customer service at the bar. I'd come again!

This was our fourth visit to The Bowman this year, and we're always pleased with the room quality, cleanliness and service from the staff. Today, 10/11/25, Robert served us in the restaurant and was brilliant, very friendly and great to chat with. He was always happy to get whatever we needed. I highly recommend him as a server, and The Bowman for a stay too. Kathy Grubb
