The Sunday lunch was excellent, with tasty food, homemade ice cream, generous portions and great value. The waiting staff were excellent, and Bruce the manager was outstanding. He made us feel special. We'll go again.

The roast potatoes had just the right crunch outside and a soft middle, and the meat was cooked perfectly with no fatty bits. The veg had a little bite to it, and the pudding was really good too. We had a perfect Sunday lunch at The Three Swans. Our cheerful server gave exceptional service. I unfortunately can't remember his name, but he said he was being sent to run a coaching Inns establishment in Ashford.

I arrived on Christmas Eve to find my car had a major problem, and Bruce took charge of helping me get it repaired when he saw how stressed and upset I was. His kindness and sincerity overwhelmed me. I'll always remember his words: "We don't do problems here; only solutions." He truly lives the hotel's motto, 'HOSPITALITY FROM THE HEART.' Oliver was also wonderful company and kept me entertained when I had to stay an extra night without my family while the car was being fixed. Caitlin made sure I could choose an alternative for every dish that didn't suit my dietary requirements, saying, we want everyone to be happy! Olivia ('Liv') was kind, friendly and efficient, and Evie's sincere, cheerful nature stood out too. Manager Bruce and the whole team went above and beyond to make our Christmas stay happy and memorable, and the hospitality was first class. It was our first time in Hungerford, and we couldn't have chosen a better place than The Three Swans for our Christmas vacation. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like part of one big happy family. My family and I have made wonderful memories here. Much gratitude and love to you all!

Evie served us beautifully. She was confident, attentive and happy to chat, without hovering. The weather had us eating in the restaurant, and we had an amazing dinner: olives and chicken terrine to start, then mussels and Bravette frites. I've had plenty of steaks, but this was among the best, even alongside Smith & Wollenskys in NY. Thanks to Stu for explaining how it was cooked. The staff were super friendly and helpful when we arrived, making check-in easy and ensuring we had everything we needed. This was my second visit, first for work and now for pleasure. I can't fault the food, service or accommodation, and I'll be back and recommending the place to others. Thanks to the whole team for an outstanding visit on the 8th Jan 2026 👍🏻🙏

Four generations of my family spent Christmas here, and every one of us had a wonderful time. Bruce and his team took such good care of us, with nothing too much trouble. The rooms and food were lovely, and the staff friendly and accommodating. The relaxed atmosphere suited our group perfectly, including children, dogs and great-grandma's. I haven't met a manager as kind, generous, friendly and diligent as Bruce. He also helped my sister when her car broke down, calling the AA and letting her stay an extra night until it was repaired. We'd never been away for Christmas before, and this made it truly special for all of us, far beyond what we expected. We're already talking about when to return. Thank you, Bruce, the chef and the whole team, for looking after us so well. Wishing you a very Happy New Year, and hoping you'll be there when we come back. Very best wishes, Julie & Terry Forscutt.
