Premier Inn Manchester Tameside Hyde

The room attendant on our floor was exceptionally helpful and obliging. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name. The beds were comfortable and the rooms good, and the location suited us for our local visit. Service was fine, though it’s mostly a check-in and check-out kind of place. We didn’t need help from the staff at reception.

The rooms are always fresh and clean, and the staff are lovely. It’s a perfect location for us. I do wish there were conditioner in the bathroom, and that the ceiling light switch was separate from the bathroom one. Turning on the bathroom light in the middle of the night can be blinding. Outside was quiet enough, but footsteps carry through the building. At one point the people upstairs sounded like they were going to land on us, and I was actually scared to fall asleep. It sounded like elephants up there.

The Mottram wood pub nearby has a good, excellent-value carvery, and the breakfast here was excellent as usual. The location is handy for manchester and the peaks, with a large tesco and macdonalds close by. It’s easy to find and the service was its usual efficient standard. Not an attractive premier inn, but it worked well for a few nights.

The beds are huge and really comfortable, and the rooms were lovely and clean. The staff were great too. There’s a pub right next door serving carvery, breakfast and other food. We used to live fairly close, and although the listing says Hyde, this is actually Hattersley. Tesco and mcdonald's are very nearby as well.
