The location was convenient and easy to reach, and there was plenty of free parking. Free Wi-Fi was useful too. My room had a hospitality tray, though no bottled water. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout my two nights. A comfortable, pleasant stay. I'd recommend it.

My mum is 81 and stayed here over Christmas to visit family. The staff couldn't have been kinder. They helped her get between her room and breakfast, and made sure she could get her food. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and I'm really grateful for their help. Her room worked for her mobility needs, and it was fine. Breakfast was excellent. Thank you.

After four days driving around Suffolk and house hunting, we stayed here for a night and had a very good stay for the money. The room layout worked well, the bathroom was clean, and the hotel was very clean overall. If you look closely, a few areas could use attention, but they were minor. The bed was VERY comfortable, the air conditioning was welcome, and the curtain blocked the light really well. We enjoyed the sauna, steam room and large pool, though the hot tub was out of action. We had the three course evening meal: the nacho starter, chicken curry and cheesecake were all very good. Breakfast was excellent, with pastries, juices, yoghurt, cereals, porridge and a full English buffet.

I had to stay here for a few days for work, and it was a remarkable experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the facilities were amazing, and the staff were incredible. Their food and drinks systems were down, so they were doing everything on paper. That must have been stressful for them, but they handled it commendably. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the included breakfast was top notch. While I was at work, someone came in, changed my bed and left fresh towels. I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're in the area.
