Abbie and Lauren made the biggest difference to my work stay. They were cheerful and proactive every time I saw them, whether chatting at reception, offering recommendations or making sure everything was in order. Their warmth helped me unwind after several long, tiring days, and they’re a real credit to the hotel. My room was clean and spacious, with the very comfortable bed I expect from Premier Inn. It was a quiet, good value base, conveniently placed for the A14. The whole team helped make the visit welcoming, and I’d gladly stay again. Thanks to everyone, especially Abbie and Lauren.

The rooms were spectacularly clean, modern and well equipped, with thoughtful extras, and the beds were so comfortable. Feeling safe and genuinely welcome matters a lot to me, and this place felt like a home from home. Abbie greeted us warmly and kept that happy, hardworking energy going throughout, looking after guests while switching between reception, tables, cleaning and general care. Matty the chef was just as lovely, popping in and out with jokes and cooking meals we really enjoyed, including dishes suited to our preferences. We saw five team members during our stay, and they worked together easily whether things were quiet or busy. They moved quickly without making guests feel pressured. We’ve got a two week group holiday to book. As the lead bookers, we’ve decided there’s no need to travel further when we can get everything we want for a comfortable, luxurious stay here. We’ll visit several times before then, and book 14 nights with at least four bedrooms. I already know we’ll enjoy it. I hope the team stay together, especially Abbie and Matty. Thank you so much ❤️

Our room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, which we much preferred to a buffet, and Lesley made us feel welcome. Abbie greeted us warmly and served us a lovely dinner. The staff were very helpful, and the stay was great value. The hotel is outside Ipswich, which suited our trips to nearby Needham Market and Stowmarket. Free parking was a welcome bonus.

The room had a comfy bed and a very good new style shower bathroom, and the hotel was quiet with no road noise. Breakfast was cooked to order and done really nicely. Dinner was good too: the menu had plenty of choice, the burger was generous, and the chips were exceptional. After a few disappointing meals at Thyme restaurants over the years, this was a pleasant surprise. The food was nicely cooked, the staff were lovely, and we had an excellent stay in a convenient spot.

We had a really nice stay, with fantastic rooms and great food. The only niggle was a noisy air conditioning pump near one of our rooms. Moving it or adding soundproofing could help, but it wasn’t a deal breaker.
