I didn’t stay here, just stopped by to ask if a non-resident could get a cup of tea, either to take away or to have in reception while I waited for my bus. After about 10 minutes at the front desk, I leaned into what seemed to be the breakfast room and asked a waitress. She snapped, “We’re closed,” then walked away without saying anything else. That was frankly rude. I won’t come back, even when they’re “open.”

The bartender was so kind and knowledgeable, and made amazing drinks. The food was great too, especially the mushroom soup and salad. Great place to say.

The bar and restaurant attached to the hotel were lovely. I had a nice updated room, with a good shower and lots of tea caddy options, though it was pretty creaky and I could hear noise from other rooms. The blonde haired reception staff member was sooo friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the other one wasn’t as much.

I lost an earring that day, and the staff helped me find it and arranged to post it to me. I really appreciate that. The room and location were great, as were the bath and shower. I enjoyed the restaurant food, and breakfast in the morning was big and delicious.

The mountain outline was extraordinary, and it was a perfect place to begin and end our trip to the Fairy Pools. They’d prepared the room romantically, with a clean bathroom and complimentary snacks. The restaurant bar staff gave us so much warmth and care about our engagement. Marathi was so sweet on the phone and when we arrived, and the rest of the staff were lovely too. Just an incredible stay.
