The room looked standard, but when I pulled back the duvet there was a red bug. I knew what it was and caught it in a mug. Under the mattress I found bed bugs, eggs and droppings everywhere. I told reception, but the staff member said she was only working nights and couldn't do anything. The entrance had seemed clean, and I'd even complimented the lovely plants there. I had to leave for another hotel and got no refund, which I'll be chasing. Don't stay unless you want to be bitten and risk bringing them home. Vile, like a bushtucker trial room!

The room smelled awful and was probably the most disgusting hotel room I've ever stayed in. Reception staff were friendly, at least. I'll never forget that room.

I couldn't fault my stay, and the food was fabulous. There was a full Indian menu and a full European one, both with plenty of choice. The bar had a comfortable seating area and a nice atmosphere, with pretty much any drink you could want. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The inside was lovely and clean, though the outside could use a fresh coat of paint.

The staff were attentive and really friendly, and the room was clean and tidy. Still, it needed some work: the sink was cracked, there was no door chain, the TV remote didn't work, and the hotel information and menu were worn and tatty. The hotel itself feels run down. We skipped breakfast, though the buffet looked nice. It's out of the way, but suited us as a halfway point for meeting my friend. There are some nice pubs and restaurants a drive away.
